For many participants in the competition for the first Giessen Crime Thriller Festival, their criminal instincts paid off. They were chosen as winners from the more than 200 sleuths "posed" by six famous detectives in Giessen's pedestrian zone. Yesterday, the head of private customer sales at Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG), Michael Rösner, presented the prizes to the lucky winners at the infoZentrum on the market square. The main prize, namely a supporting role in one of the next Tatort productions, went to Monika Monter from Wettenberg. So she will soon be seen on the screen - hopefully not as a corpse of all things. The second prize, a bicycle voucher for 450 euros donated by SWG, was presented by Michael Rösner to Horst Jünger from Giessen, represented by his son Jan Magnus. The third prize, a Saeco coffee machine donated by Kreuter-Vending, was won by Rüdiger Rotter from Giessen; the fourth prize, The smallest book in the world donated by Ferber'schen Buchhandlung, was won by Gerda Strasheim from Griedelbach; the fifth prize, a voucher for 100 euros from Schuhhaus Darré, Peerke Schmidt from Giessen. Prizes number six and seven, a gourmet package worth €50 from Jacques Weindepot and a €50 voucher from the VVG Service Centre, went to Wolfgang Löhmann from Lich and Katharina Schinkel from Giessen. Winners were also chosen for many other attractive prizes. They will be notified in writing in the next few days.
