How e-fuelling works

100 % energy. 100 % comfortable.

The E-Tanken app gives you quick and convenient access to our charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. You can use it to access all SWG charging points and also the charging points of many partners that are connected via roaming.

An overview map and the prices at currently connected charging points can be found in the E-Tanken app.

E-fuelling app

Install the e-fuelling app on your smartphone.

Register in the e-fuelling app

  • After starting the smartphone app, you will find yourself on the start page.
  • Click on the "list icon" in the top left-hand corner.
  • Click on "Log in".
  • In the login window that opens, click on "Register".
  • Complete all mandatory fields in the following form. Make sure that your password contains upper and lower case letters as well as numbers and special characters. Please do not fill in the customer number field.
  • After successful registration, your customer data record will be created as an e-mobility contract in the E-Tanken app.

Refuelling

You refuel your electric vehicle at one of the many charging points. You can also find these clearly organised in the app.

Pay

As part of the registration process, you issue a SEPA direct debit mandate. This allows you to pay for refuelling conveniently by direct debit. You will receive a monthly PDF invoice for the refuelling processes to the e-mail address you have provided.

Functions of the e-fuelling app

The overview map in the E-Tanken app shows you all the charging points that are accessible to you. You can easily activate these from the app. You can also see their current availability and have the option of navigating the shortest route to the charging station of your choice. You will also receive all the information about the currently applicable usage fees.

You can manage your personal data and billing information directly in the app. All charging processes are added to your personal user account; billing is conveniently carried out via direct debit. You can also view past and current charging processes live, including electricity consumption, meter readings and the costs associated with charging.
