New line routing from 01.01.2026
We are redesigning the future of city bus transport in Giessen with new routes from 1 January 2026. Our bus network will be optimised, journey times reduced, new connections created and more journeys offered to make our local transport even more attractive and user-friendly.

Timetables for our night buses
To ensure that you can get home safely at night, our Venus and Saturn night buses run every hour from Berliner Platz in Giessen on Friday and Saturday nights, from Saturday to Sunday and before public holidays from 00:27 to 4:27.
While Venus travels through Weststadt and Wieseck, Saturn serves the south-eastern districts. Connecting taxis are available for Rödgen, Allendorf and Lützellinden.
Use of the night buses is free of charge.
