Charging network e-fuelling
The charging network in our region
ServiceSTADTwerke GmbH, a subsidiary of SWG, operates the E-Tanken charging network together with Stadtwerke Gießen and Stadtwerke Bad Homburg.
This means that all charging stations of the partners participating in the E-Tanken charging network, as well as all connected roaming partners, can be refuelled using the same app. Billing is handled by a single point of contact: ServiceSTADTwerke.
For you as a provider.
The more the better - that applies to our network. Because the more charging stations are integrated, the more charging options are available to users.
For this reason, we offer all charging station owners the opportunity to become part of the E-Tanken charging network and utilise our comprehensive service portfolio.
With E-Tanken, the billing of refuelling processes at your charging stations is very straightforward. We offer you the complete connection, support and realisation of the billing process.
This includes
- Connection of the locations in the backend
- Display of the locations in the E-Tanken app and on the website
- Maintenance of the master data
- Management of the contract data
- Billing to the user
- Maintenance of tariffs after consultation
- Insight into the IT backend and your own charging stations, refuelling processes and invoices
- Service hotline for users

As part of the E-TANKEN charging network, you have almost no obligations - we take care of most of the work for you.
Nevertheless, there are a few points that you must ensure:
- Proper connection to the public power grid including supply
- Compliance of the charging stations with calibration law
- Indication of the locations and affixing of the stickers
- Maintenance of the charging stations
- Fault clearance of the charging stations
