Increased carriage charge

Not a trivial offence
"Travelling without paying" is not a trivial offence for us. We have to charge passengers without a valid ticket an increased fare of 60 euros.

Unfortunately, in the interests of all paying passengers, we know no pardon. You can read our clear rules in our conditions of carriage and fare regulations.

Have you forgotten your personal, non-transferable ticket? In this case, the increased fare will be reduced to 7 euros, provided you present this proof within one week at our RMV Mobility Centre in the Stadtwerke Gießen Customer Centre, Marktplatz 15.

Own lawyers and lawyers of opposing parties, courts, police, authorities (e.g. tax offices), experts, insurance companies, tax and auditors, other parties authorised to provide information who can prove a legitimate interest.

The storage period is based on the provisions of the German Fiscal Code and is 10 years from the end of the year in which the data was collected. For a period of two years from the end of the year in which the data was collected, this data is stored in the active system. Processing is then restricted.

It is also possible to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority for data protection (The Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, P.O.
