After every ten years, a comprehensive TÜV inspection is scheduled for all natural gas filling stations, with the engineers taking a close look at the entire system. The natural gas filling station at Marburger Straße 229 in Giessen will be out of service for three days from 10 to 12 March. During this period, Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) will be offering drivers of natural gas cars an alternative - the petrol station on the SWG premises at Lahnstraße 31, which is not usually open to the public. From 10 to 12 March, a natural gas pump will be available there between 6 am and 11 pm.
Visitors should note: There may be waiting times in the mornings and evenings if there is a large crowd. Anyone wishing to use SWG's alternative service must register with the porter beforehand. Payment is only possible with an EC card and PIN number.
