Helping helpers
In our modern society, we still rely on people who help without hesitation. For example, when there is a fire or a storm has flooded the cellar. And the commitment of the volunteer firefighters who then turn up goes far beyond the sometimes dangerous operations. In their free time, they train for emergencies and undergo continuous further training. For all this, they deserve our highest appreciation. In order to express this not only in words, we support the invaluable work of the volunteer fire brigades. As a long-standing partner of the district fire brigade association, we donate attractive prizes for the Fire Brigade of the Future competition year after year.
Tour of hope
We have also been supporting the fight against childhood cancer for almost 30 years now. This is because there is not enough public funding available for their holistic treatment and for research into forms of cancer that occur in young people. Consequently, donations are needed. And these are collected by the Tour of Hope cycling event, which we support as a reliable partner. To date, the participants - including many celebrities from sport and showbiz - have cycled well over 12,000 kilometres and raised around 45 million euros in the process. The annual tour usually starts at our company premises in Lahnstraße.
