Sport in all its facets
The promotion of sport is particularly important to us. And that in its many different forms. This means that we support professional teams as well as clubs that are committed to popular sport and do important work with young people. Of course, this also applies to clubs that play lesser-known and less recognised sports.
Top-class sport as entertainment
We are proud to be a partner of teams that attract fans to halls and stadiums week after week and provide great entertainment there. These include the GIESSEN 46ers basketball team, the TV 05/07 Hüttenberg handball team and the FSV Fernwald and SC Waldgirmes teams, who play in the top football league in Hesse.
Popular sport as a foundation
Many top athletes can look back on a similar career: they began their career in a comparatively small club. Perhaps in mother-and-child gymnastics or in a general play session. These low-threshold programmes are more important today than ever. Not so much to discover new talents, but above all to teach children to enjoy exercise. This is exactly where our "Play your game" campaign comes in. We support clubs, organisations and projects that pursue this very goal: To inspire children and young people to exercise regularly.
Not in the limelight, but travelling at a high level
Last but not least, we also care about the athletes who receive less public attention but who undoubtedly achieve extraordinary things. These include the successful women's team of the Bender Baskets Grünberg, the Linden gymnastics team, the Giessen eight in rowing, the Giessen triathlon team, the Golden Dragons footballers and, last but not least, the bowlers of KSV Wieseck.
