SWG Junior Cup
Stadtwerke Giessen has always been committed to children and young people in the region - including in sport: together with the Giessen football district, we support the district cup for juniors and are committed to promoting young talent. This co-operation underlines our goal of getting young people interested in sport and exercise.
We provide direct and sustainable support:
- Equipment: Each team receives a new match ball before the start of the cup round. All ten finalists - from E- to A-youth - will also receive an additional ball as a bonus.
- Awards: There will be trophies for the winners and medals and certificates for all members of the final teams.
- Funding: SWG will cover the costs of the referees and provide prizes for the G and F juniors, who will compete against each other in interlude matches on the final days.
- Experience: On the final days, football stations on the artificial turf pitch provide exercise and fun - including football badges for the children.

1st final day:
Saturday, 18 October 2025 at TSV Lang-Göns 1898 e.V. in Langgöns.
2nd final day:
The second final day will take place at the end of June 2026. Further details on the date and venue will be announced in good time.
