SWG Junior Cup
Stadtwerke Giessen has always been committed to children and young people in the region - including in sport: together with the Giessen football district, we support the district cup for juniors and are committed to promoting young talent. This co-operation underlines our goal of getting young people interested in sport and exercise.
We provide direct support:
- Equipment: Each team receives a new match ball before the start of the cup round. All ten finalists – from E to A youth teams – also receive an additional ball as a prize.
- Awards: The winners will receive trophies, whilst all members of the finalist teams will receive medals and certificates.
- Funding: SWG will cover the costs of the referees and provide prizes for the G and F juniors, who will compete against each other in friendly matches on the days of the finals.
- Activities: On the days of the finals, football stations on the artificial turf pitch will provide plenty of exercise and fun – including football badges for the children.
