In the last lecture in this year's "Energy Knowledge on Tuesday" series, Stadtwerke Gießen will be providing information on the topic of "Saving electricity in the home".
Saving where possible: A sensible decision in times of rising costs. There are hidden opportunities to reduce electricity consumption in almost every household. Kevin Krempel, energy consultant at Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG), promises: "With our tips, you can significantly reduce your electricity costs at home without having to sacrifice the comfort you are used to."
As part of the SWG lecture series "Energy Knowledge on Tuesday", SWG will explain on 17 December where potential power guzzlers lurk and what simple measures can be taken to effectively save electricity. Practically all areas of the household will be scrutinised, from kitchen appliances to consumer electronics. Another focus of the informative presentation is the often little-known energy efficiency classes of electrical appliances. Practical: Anyone who wants to track down hidden power guzzlers in their own home after the online presentation can borrow a suitable measuring device from SWG. For example, the stand-by function of various appliances is often a reason for increased electricity consumption.
Anyone who would like to find out how to easily reduce electricity consumption in the home should register at energieberatung@stadtwerke-giessen.de by 15 December 2024. The lecture itself starts on 17 December at 5.30 pm. SWG will send out the necessary participation link in good time.
