Public utilities temporarily set up replacement stops

From Friday 29 June from 8 a.m. up to and including Wednesday 4 July, the Heuchelheim Ost, Bahnstraße, Ludwig-Rinn-Straße and Haag stops in Heuchelheim will not be available for city buses. Line 24 of Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG) will use alternative stops during this period. The reason for the city buses taking a diversion is the complete closure of the Heuchelheim through road for the completion of the roundabout in the town centre.

Routing from Giessen

City buses travelling from Giessen in the direction of Kinzenbach and Wetzlar will travel from the Gottlieb-Daimler-Straße stop to the alternative stop on Wilhelmstraße in Rodheimer Straße and turn into Brauhausstraße at the Schunk company. From there, the buses will head for the Hammerpfad stop via Friedrich-Ebert-Straße. An alternative bus stop will be set up on the corner of Friedrich-Ebert-Straße and Mühlstraße.

Routing from Kinzenbach

Coming from Kinzenbach, the city buses will travel from the Hammerpfad stop to the replacement stop on the corner of Friedrich-Ebert-Straße and Mühlstraße. The buses will then continue via Brauhausstraße to the replacement stop at Wilhelmstraße in Rodheimer Straße and then resume their normal route towards Gießen.
