Stadtwerke Gießen will be providing information on district heating in a lecture from the "Energy Knowledge on Tuesday" series on 25 July.
Against the backdrop of the current energy crisis and the forthcoming amendment to the Building Energy Act, more and more people are asking themselves which heating system is right for them. With its district heating, Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) has been offering a real alternative for many years. In fact, district heating scores with a whole range of advantages. Objectively speaking, this form of heating has what it takes to accelerate the energy transition in the heating sector. Which is why it is increasingly becoming the focus of the German government.
In its "Energy Knowledge on Tuesday" lecture series, SWG is shedding light on all the key aspects of district heating. In his presentation, SWG energy consultant Moritz Müller will first discuss the various generation plants. He then explains how district heating reaches each individual home and how convenient it is. Because if you heat with district heating, you literally don't have to worry about anything. Last but not least, Moritz Müller also discusses the subsidies currently available, which make the switch to district heating even more attractive.
