City bus route 14 is being diverted

As Sudetenlandstraße is to be closed to traffic, bus route 14 will have to take an alternative route.

Due to necessary resurfacing work and the associated road marking works, Sudetenlandstraße will be completely closed to traffic. The section between Troppauer Straße and Marburger Straße is affected. This will have a direct impact on city bus route 14. From Monday 29 June 2026, it will have to follow a diversion in both directions between the ‘Ederstraße’ and ‘Landgericht’ stops. Specifically, buses will travel from Sudetenlandstraße via Asterweg and Nordanlage to Ostanlage and vice versa. As a result, they will not be able to serve the ‘Werrastraße’ and ‘Steinstraße’ stops. Instead, they will stop at the ‘Schwarzlachweg’ stop on Asterweg. When travelling towards Sandelfeldschule, they will also stop at the ‘Nordanlage’ stop on Asterweg. The diversion is expected to remain in place until 7 July 2026.
