The city buses in Giessen will resume service on Monday, 23 January. The familiar timetables will then apply. The trade union ver.di and the State Association of Hessian Bus Operators (LHO) have not yet agreed on a new collective labour agreement. However, both negotiating partners want to find a compromise in the next two weeks and are therefore entering a so-called conciliation procedure. During this period, there will be no further strike action. However, bus drivers will continue to strike up to and including Sunday 22 January - for the second weekend in a row.
Current transport information is also available on the SWG website at www.stadtwerke-giessen.de/verkehr. If passengers have any questions, they can also contact the advisors at the mobility centre in the customer centre in person. Opening hours of the customer centre: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
