This summer, the Junior Football Academy Mittelhessen is once again organising a one-week "training camp" for young footballers - with the support of Stadtwerke Gießen. Practising will take place on the sports field in Pohlheim-Garbenteich. Registration is already open.
Professional footballer - many young footballers have this career aspiration. However, simply having talent is not enough to realise this dream. Training diligence is what counts. The experienced coaches and trainers at the Junior Football Academy Mittelhessen know this. That's why they have been organising the football summer camp at the sports ground in Pohlheim-Garbenteich together with Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) for several years now - in 2015 for the ninth time.
From 10 to 14 August, young talents between the ages of 6 and 15 will train individual techniques such as dribbling, shooting and passing. The qualified, licensed coaches have prepared a special age-appropriate programme for budding goalkeepers. Small competitions and tournaments guarantee plenty of fun at the summer football camp. The young athletes can show off what they have learnt. Training takes place daily from 10 am to 3 pm. Lunch and drinks are provided by Stadtwerke Gießen.
