Young footballers bring a breath of fresh air to every team: the German national football team is successfully pursuing this strategy. The young stars and World Cup heroes of tomorrow are already ready and waiting. This year, they are once again working hard on their technique and goal kicking at the summer football camp. The Junior Football Academy invites all 6 to 15-year-olds to attend training camps lasting several days at the sports grounds in Pohlheim-Garbenteich - supported by Stadtwerke Giessen. Unlike last year, there are two dates in 2011: from 18 to 22 July and from 25 to 29 July.
Under the guidance of Karl-Otto Mank and Thorsten Buß, experienced trainers and coaches will show the young players new dribbling techniques and coordination exercises. Aspiring goalkeepers receive special training. The young footballers can put what they have learnt into practice straight away in competitions and games. At the end of the football summer camp, everyone receives a certificate and a small souvenir gift.
Lunch and drinks are provided by the Junior Football Academy. Parents should only ensure that they register in good time: The number of participants is limited.
