Kira Mai from Wieseck has won 14,000 kilowatt hours (kWh) of natural gas. Yesterday, Michael Rösner, Head of Private Customer Sales at Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG), presented the lucky winner and her husband, Peter Mai, with a voucher worth 500 euros.
Kira Mai is the winner of the natural gas prize draw, which came from the infoZentrum on the market square. The infoZentrum not only celebrated its 10th anniversary at the end of January, but also used the anniversary as the start of a series of exhibitions on the market square. The theme of the first exhibition was versatile natural gas. Visitors who took advantage of energy advice from the experts on site during the exhibition period were able to take part in a prize draw.
Until 27 March 2004, the exhibition will focus on the rational use and sensible use of drinking water. In addition to useful information, the municipal utilities are giving away drinking water worth 500 euros. Anyone interested can visit the exhibition in the infoCentre from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm.
