Stadtwerke Gießen brings electricity, natural gas, heat and water to your home. In its "Energy Knowledge on Tuesday" lecture series on 28 June, the energy supplier will provide information on the simple way to a secure grid connection.
Whether it's a new build or renovation, every construction project is a major challenge. A secure house connection is particularly important. Because in order to connect a building to the electricity, natural gas, heating or water network, it is necessary to take a number of things into account in the planning phase. It's good to know that you have a strong partner at your side in Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG). "We support building owners in our network area in planning and implementing their house connections," explains Hans Peter Schön, energy consultant at Stadtwerke Gießen. As part of the SWG lecture series "Energy Knowledge on Tuesday" on 28 June, the expert will explain, among other things, what building owners need to pay attention to and how Stadtwerke can support them.
Perfect planning is crucial
The energy consultant emphasises the importance of explaining the entire process to customers. That's why he provides builders with all the important information on upcoming decisions in his online presentation - from electricity during the construction phase to the right connection option. For example, a multi-branch house connection offers clear advantages over a single-branch house connection: "If you lay all cables through a single wall opening, you minimise the space required and can optimally seal the feed-through into the building," says the expert.
Everything from a single source
In order to provide optimum support for a construction project, SWG prepares a customised offer for each project. To do this, the building owner must first submit all the necessary documents. "We recommend consulting an expert at an early stage. Because decisions made in the planning phase can only be corrected later at great expense," emphasises Hans Peter Schön. He summarises it like this: "Only those who make the right considerations in advance can approach the building project with peace of mind."
Lecture series online
Keeping up with the times: SWG has digitised its offering and now offers its lecture programme online. This format also offers the opportunity to exchange ideas: "We are happy to answer questions, of course," says Hans Peter Schön.
If you would like to watch the lecture on 28 June at 17:30, please register by 27 June at energieberatung@stadtwerke-giessen.de and you will receive a participation link in good time before the event.
