This year, the Giessen fifties associations are once again organising the traditional Wäldchesfest on the Schiffenberg - on Sunday, 20 September from 10:30 am. "Experience has shown that many visitors use public transport to get there and back. The majority also make their way to the Schiffenberg in the morning. For this reason - as in previous years for the Wäldchesfest - we are temporarily operating additional buses from the Berliner Platz stop," explains Anne Müller-Kreutz, Head of Local Transport Services at Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG).
Line 6 will run every 30 minutes from Berliner Platz in the direction of Schiffenberg from 10.21 am to 11.51 am. The regular timetable then applies. The last bus from Berliner Platz to Schiffenberg leaves at 17:51. Last return journey from Schiffenberg towards the city centre: 18:06.
