A complete closure in Schlachthofstraße means that the Venus night bus route has to take a diversion.
In the coming months, Stadtwerke Gießen will be constructing the technical centre for three river water heat pumps. As part of the necessary preparatory work, Schlachthofstraße has been closed to traffic. This closure is expected to last until May 2025 and will have a direct impact on the Venus night bus route. It will not be able to call at the "Hessenhalle" and "Hardtallee" stops. SWG is asking its passengers to use the "Schützenstraße" stop on Rodheimer Straße or the "Gleiberger Weg" stop on Krofdorfer Straße.
