After a coronavirus break of around two years, the Venus and Saturn night bus routes are resuming their service.
From the night of Saturday, 23 April, to Sunday, 24 April, the two popular night bus routes operated by Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) - Venus and Saturn - will once again take all those who like to party a little longer at the weekend back home safely. However, because the Adenauerbrücke bridge is now closed to vehicles with a total weight of over 3.5 tonnes, SWG has to run the Venus line via a slightly different route. The new route runs from the Liebig Centre stop in Bahnhofstraße via Westanlage to the Mühlstraße stop and the Schützenstraße stop in Rodheimer Straße. Venus then follows Krofdorfer Straße to the Westschule stop in Weststadt. Back on Rodheimer Straße, the bus stops at Hessenhalle and Hardtallee before making another stop at Schützenstraße. It will then continue on its usual route.
