Stadtwerke Gießen supports TSG Leihgestern's E-junior girls
As part of the "Play your game" campaign, Stadtwerke Gießen has provided the TSG Leihgestern E-junior girls' team with 20 footballs and functional shirts for training.
TSG Leihgestern has been promoting girls' and women's football for years. The E-junior girls' team, founded in 2022, is open to all interested girls between the ages of 8 and 11, regardless of their previous experience. The focus is on enjoying football, team spirit and fair play.
The team regularly takes part in Funiño tournaments, a child-friendly form of play on small pitches. Friendly matches are also played against other teams.
With its campaign, SWG specifically supports clubs that offer children and young people meaningful exercise programmes. The integrative orientation of TSG Leihgestern was an important criterion for the selection.
