From Monday, 9 January 2006, the first city bus on route 7 (Philosophenwald - Berliner Platz - Evangelisches Krankenhaus) and route 24 (Wetzlar Busbahnhof - Lahnau - Heuchelheim - Gießen Bahnhof) will be running earlier than before. This is SWG's response to customer requests for the lines to start earlier. Passengers will thus reach their desired destination on time.
Line 7
On Mondays to Fridays, line 7 will depart from Berliner Platz at 5.37 a.m., 12 minutes earlier than before, in the direction of Evangelisches Krankenhaus. The first bus on route 7 then arrives at the Evangelisches Krankenhaus stop at 5.48 am. This means that anyone working at the hospital will arrive at their destination in time for the start of work at 6.00 am.
Line 24
Line 24 also departs Monday to Friday from the Wetzlar bus station stop earlier than usual since the timetable change on 20 November, at 4:43 am. The departure times at the following stops on this route will change accordingly. Departure from the Kinzenbach Kirche stop is already at 5.06 am. The bus will reach Giessen railway station at 5.30 a.m. (instead of 5.40 a.m.). In this way, Stadtwerke is providing a better connection to the train service to Frankfurt.
Timetable change of the Wetzlar transport company
From Mondays to Fridays, an additional bus on the
Line 11 departs from the Johanneskirche bus stop in the direction of Wetzlar bus station at 19:00. This has been added to the previous service with departure times at 18:30 and 19:30.
Passengers can find all changes on the timetables posted at the respective stops. Stadtwerke asks for your understanding that these changes were made after the timetable change and are not included in the current timetable book.
