If homeowners and building owners decide in favour of efficient and climate-friendly heating solutions, they will benefit in particular in 2016. Stadtwerke Gießen is presenting its new subsidy programme for heating conversions at BAUExpo.

Numerous visitors flocked to the Giessen exhibition halls on the opening day of BAUExpo on 18 February. Once again this year, numerous exhibitors provided information about the latest trends in building, renovation and living - including Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG). As an energy service provider with regional roots, the company supports homeowners, builders and tenants with a wide range of products and services.
Matthias Funk, Technical Director of SWG, emphasised at BAUExpo: "We help people in Giessen and the surrounding area to opt for an intelligent and efficient energy supply. This also includes our current subsidy programme. Anyone who switches from another fuel to climate-friendly natural gas or district heating in 2016 will receive a conversion bonus."

Switching to heat or natural gas pays off
SWG pays every homeowner 750 euros. "With this financial incentive, we want to make the use of efficient heating solutions more attractive," explained Matthias Funk. The subsidy programme is valid until 31 December 2016 and retroactively from 1 January 2016. Anyone who would like to find out more about the conditions and processing can visit the SWG stand at BAUExpo until 21 February. Interested parties can also find out everything they need to know about the subsidy programme on the Stadtwerke Gießen website at www.stadtwerke-giessen.de/umstellbonus, by calling 0800 2302100 (Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and at the SWG customer centre on the market square in Gießen.
