Stadtwerke congratulates trainees

On Friday, 7 July 2006, eight trainees from Stadtwerke Gießen AG had reason to celebrate. Dominik Horn from Reiskirchen successfully completed his training as an electrician after 3 years. Pierre Alain Gerard Ziegler from Ehringshausen and Jens Schardt from Pohlheim did the same and completed their training as plant mechanics with flying colours. The same goes for Tanja Boller from Buseck, who specialises in swimming pool operations. To mark the occasion, the newly qualified young professionals received their certificates and a small gift at a small ceremony in the SWG training centre. The industrial clerks Larissa Rigelhof from Buseck, Abdülmesih Anter from Linden, Claudia Kratz from Pohlheim and Jörg Backhaus from Fernwald had already passed their exams in May with good grades, but they also took part in the small ceremony to congratulate their new colleagues and take home the long overdue "graduation present".

Certificates in the bag
The certificates and gifts were presented by Reinhard Paul, Technical Director of Stadtwerke Gießen, and Ruth Biehl-Franze, Women's Representative and contact person for training. Also present were the two technical trainers Peter Zeizinger and Hagen Luh, who were always on hand to offer the young people help and advice as they progressed through their training.

Job secured for a year
There was another piece of particularly good news for the trainees: over the next twelve months, seven of them will be able to demonstrate what they have learnt during their training at Stadtwerke in a selected specialist department.
