Four young people started their induction week and subsequent vocational training at Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG) on 1 August. Patrick Schmidt from Lahntal and Tobias Wagner from Biebertal began their training as electronics technicians for industrial engineering. Artur Gwosdek from Butzbach and Sina Michel from Wetter start their training as industrial clerks at SWG. Also new to the ranks of SWG is FOS trainee Jasmin Katz from Rechtenbach.
Manfred Siekmann, Chairman of the SWG Management Board, welcomed the trainees and their parents on their first day of training. The two technical trainers Hagen Luh and Peter Zeizinger as well as the commercial trainer and women's representative Ruth Biehl-Franze organised the rest of the day.
With the new trainees and the FOS intern, there are now a total of 28 young people in training at SWG. 12 other young people from co-operating companies are also completing their training with the Giessen-based energy and water supplier.
