Eight young people started at Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG) on 1 August 2007

Seven young people started their induction week and subsequent vocational training at Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG) on 1 August.

Eugenio Gentile, Emma Schempp and Tim Thirolf (industrial clerks), Ywo Rudolph and Tobias Klingel (electronics technicians for energy and building services engineering), Maxim Koch and Christian Stowasser (electronics technicians for industrial engineering), and Sebastian Tuchscherer as an FOS year trainee will start their training.

On the first day of their career start, Manfred Siekmann, CEO of SWG, welcomed the trainees and their parents to the company's own training centre. Ludwig Gümbel welcomed the trainees on behalf of the works council.

The two technical trainers Hagen Luh and Peter Zeizinger as well as the commercial trainer and women's representative Ruth Biehl-Franze organised the rest of the day's events.

With the new trainees, a total of 38 young people are now undergoing training at SWG. In the course of 2007, a further 10 young people will be starting training co-operations. SWG is providing important parts of the vocational training for the companies Tucker GmbH, Stadtwerke Marburg, Telogs GmbH and AGRU-FRANK GmbH. It is obvious why so much effort is made to familiarise the young people with the company during the induction week and then to support, encourage and challenge them during their training. The company assumes responsibility for the region and prepares the young people for professional life. After all, qualified specialists are needed more than ever.
