This year, the season at the Ringallee outdoor pool started earlier than ever before. From Saturday 7 June, Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) will also be opening the gates to the two outdoor pools in Kleinlinden and Lützellinden. Then it's back to sunbathing and swimming in the open air.
The opening hours remain the same as last year: daily from 1 pm to 7 pm. The rules for exceptionally good weather have not changed either. If the weather service forecasts cloudless skies and temperatures of at least 25 degrees for the following day, the opening hours will be extended. Visitors can enjoy the sun, dive into the cool water or swim their lengths between 10 am and 8 pm. However, please note that the ticket office closes one hour before the end of opening hours.
From this season, visitors will pay 2.30 euros for a day ticket, while a season ticket for adults costs 46 euros. The price of a reduced season ticket is 30.70 euros. Families pay 92 euros for a season ticket.
