Glowing mousepads for winners - 200 girls and boys took part

Prizes for the quick and convenient mouse click were awarded last Friday to the winners of this year's Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG) holiday games for children. Michael Rösner, Head of Private Customer Sales at SWG, took the opportunity to congratulate the little winners and present the prizes. Each of the 19 winners received a luminous mousepad with a USB connection. The mousepad is great fun for any PC novice, but even experienced PC users will enjoy their prize.

Not only the little guests with their modern mousepads were the focus of attention, but also the organisers and supervisors of the holiday games. Michael Rösner thanked all the helpers who contributed to the success of the holiday games.

19 winners from the region

This year, a total of 538 children from Giessen and fifteen towns and municipalities accepted the municipal utility's invitation to the waterworks and experienced the waterworks in action. In addition to the games of skill, the children from the 19 participating groups were able to take part in an additional competition. Those who paid close attention knew the solution immediately. The SWG employees wanted to know from the young participants how many wells are located on the grounds of the Queckborn waterworks. SWG drew the following winners from almost 200 participants in the competition: Marco Jandrasits (Buseck), Laura Weller (Fernwald), Anna Müller (Gemünden), Luca Manns, Svenja Neeb, Madeleine Schäfer, Nepomuk Zieske, (Gießen), Lukas Frank (Grünberg), Carlo Paradiso (Heuchelheim), Marcus Müller (Homberg), Viktoria Groh (Lahnau), Michelle Hechler (Lollar), Jonathan Sommer (Pohlheim), Julian Reinhardt, Elisabeth Schnecker (Rabenau), Tristan Kutscher, Lara Wagner (Reiskirchen) and André Höhl (Staufenberg).
