Musical diversity against a special backdrop - that's what the Giessen Summer of Culture stands for. This year, Stadtwerke Giessen is once again supporting this unique event as a premium partner and providing the necessary energy.
The Giessen Summer of Culture - a feast for the senses that delights anew every year. This year, the concert series, consisting of a total of eleven acts, will once again offer musical diversity in front of a truly special backdrop. "The audience can look forward to rousing music and unforgettable moments," explains Dennis Bahl, Managing Director of Konzertbüro Bahl GmbH.
Well-known artists and bands will provide an exuberant atmosphere on stage. From German rap with the Fantastischen Vier to soulful German pop with Lea and international flair with Michael Patrick Kelly - the Giessen Kultursommer covers almost every musical taste. Naturally, the organisers will take excellent care of the guests' physical well-being.
More than just financial support
Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) will continue its commitment to the popular event series in 2023. "The Kultursommer is an absolute highlight in Giessen every year and a flagship event for Giessen. For us, it is a matter of course to support such an event as a premium partner," says Ulli Boos, SWG company spokesperson, explaining the company's commitment. SWG is not just a sponsor - it is also actively involved: in addition to financial resources, it provides the electricity required for the spectacle against the unique backdrop of the old monastery walls. To this end, the energy experts from Lahnstrasse are creating a temporary, high-performance power supply on the Schiffenberg that is specifically required for the eleven open-air concerts. "SWG's commitment makes it much easier for us to stage the spectacular shows," emphasises Markus Urich, second Managing Director of the concert office. "We are delighted that we can rely on their support again this year."
