The Pohlheim Indoor Swimming Pool Association is reviewing its decision to close the sauna to save energy.

Saving energy is the order of the day. Those responsible at the Pohlheim Indoor Pool Association are also keen to make a contribution to saving natural gas. In July 2022, they therefore made the decision to reduce the pool water temperature to 26 degrees Celsius - only the teaching pool remained at a cosy 31 degrees. With the aim of saving even more energy, the special-purpose association decided to close the indoor pool's sauna at the beginning of September 2022. However, many sauna guests were unhappy with this decision. At the end of November, those responsible therefore decided to first observe the situation on the gas market in order to then decide at the beginning of January 2023 whether and at what times the sauna facility could possibly be reopened.
