Starting at Ludwigsplatz, Ludwigstraße will be closed on one side in the direction of Bismarckstraße for around four weeks from Monday 19 July. The renewal of the gas and water pipes leading to the Dach-Café building and the pavement at Ludwigsplatz should be completed by mid-August.
The one-sided closure will cause disruption to a number of bus routes. This affects line 3 towards Schwarzacker, line 13 towards the dialysis centre and line 6 towards Schiffenberg. The same applies to buses on lines 800 and 802 as well as the Saturn night bus travelling to Rathenaustraße. During the construction phase, it will unfortunately not be possible to get off at the Liebigschule stop. A replacement stop is located at Nahrungsberg on the corner of Keplerstraße. The journeys of lines 800, 801 and 802, which depart in the evening and at weekends in the direction of Wettenberg in front of the Kongresshalle, will exceptionally start on the other side of Berliner Platz, i.e. at the stop in front of the town hall.
The diversion route will take the buses from the Berliner Platz stop via Ludwigsplatz, Gutenbergstraße, Nahrungsberg and Bismarckstraße and Schiffenberger Weg. In the opposite direction from Schiffenberger Tal or Ludwigstraße towards Berliner Platz, the route will remain the same. However, there may also be disruptions and delays here.
