The trade union ver.di has once again called a warning strike for 29 May 2024. As a result, no city buses will be running in Giessen on Wednesday.
After the sixth round of negotiations in the wage dispute with private bus companies also failed, the trade union ver.di has announced another warning strike. In Giessen, all drivers of MIT.BUS GmbH have been called to stop work on Wednesday, 29 May. This means that no buses will leave the depot in Lahnstraße on 29 May. In concrete terms, this means that lines 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 18, 800, 801 and 802 - i.e. all Giessen city buses - will not be running. SWG asks all passengers to be prepared for the strike and to apologise for any possible restrictions.
All information on the timetable changes is available by calling 0641 708-1400, on the Internet at www.swg-verkehr.de or at the RMV mobility centre in Giessen in the SWG customer centre on Marktplatz.
