Giessen. At the beginning of August, Stadtwerke Giessen's new trainees started their serious training with an induction week. This time there are no fewer than nine young people who want to qualify as industrial clerks, electronics technicians for industrial engineering or specialist employees in the swimming pool operations. Depending on the job profile, their training will now last between three and three and a half years. Particularly pleasing for Stadtwerke: this year, after a long time, a young woman has once again opted for the male-dominated profession of electronics technician for industrial engineering.
