The natural gas filling station on the premises of Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) will be closed between 18 and 22 July. During this time, the petrol pump at Lahnstraße 31 will be subjected to the TÜV inspection required by law every ten years. Drivers of natural gas vehicles will have to switch to the petrol station at Marburger Straße 229 on these days.
Maintenance work in Marburger Straße
The natural gas filling station in Marburger Straße will then close for maintenance work between 25 and 30 July. However, the natural gas filling station on the Stadtwerke premises will then be available to natural gas drivers again as an alternative - 24 hours a day, all week long. However, it should be noted that there may be waiting times between 6 p.m. and midnight, as the SWG is refuelling the city buses during this period. Drivers can access the site via the main entrance in Lahnstraße, where they must register with the gatekeeper. The route to the petrol pump is signposted. Payment is only possible with an EC card.
