Giessen/Wetzlar. Due to the large number of visitors at the Hessentag 2012 in Wetzlar, Stadtwerke Gießen and its co-operation partner, ESE-Verkehrsgesellschaft, are providing additional vehicles. On route 24 between Giessen and Wetzlar, in addition to the normal buses, articulated buses will now also be used from 2 p.m. to midnight in order to noticeably increase capacity and make travelling to and from the Hessentag easier. This will not change the timetable itself, as the additional vehicles will be integrated into the existing timetable. The line will be reinforced for the Hessentag from Wednesday 6 June.
