In future, the D1 youth team of VfR Butzbach will be playing in a new kit. As part of the "Play your game" sponsorship concept, Stadtwerke Gießen is supporting the young footballers.
The young footballers of the D1 youth team at VfR Butzbach were looking forward to the training session, which took place last Tuesday in the Kirch-Göns sports hall, long in advance. Because they knew that they would be able to put on their new jerseys, shorts and socks for the first time. An outfit package including sports bags, with which Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) is supporting the youth team as part of the "Play your game" sponsorship concept. The two coaches Stefan Huber and Mourad Eddahmani had successfully applied to SWG to sponsor their protégés.
"With the new jerseys, the little ones will now be even more motivated to play. I know this from my own experience," said Stefan Huber at the presentation of the jersey sets. His fellow coach Mourad Eddahmani agreed and added: "We would therefore like to thank SWG for making this possible with their financial commitment and thus helping us with our youth work." After SV Harbach and JSG Linden, VfR Butzbach is the third club that SWG is supporting with its new sponsorship concept.
Stephanie Orlik, responsible for Marketing Services & Sponsoring at SWG, explained the reason for the commitment to youth sport once again at the jersey handover: "Clubs like VfR Butzbach make an invaluable contribution to the region. They promote talent and give children and young people the opportunity to take part in sporting activities. This is exactly what we want to honour with 'Spiel' dein Spiel'. And who knows: maybe one day we'll see one of today's young footballers playing in a match that millions of viewers watch on TV."
Clubs, schools and private initiatives can apply for funding as part of the "Spiel' dein Spiel" programme - simply by filling out the form online at www.swg-spieldeinspiel.de. SWG will review all applications received and inform you shortly whether and in what form they will support the project.
