Senior Ticket Hessen (Comfort)
Are you 65 or about to turn 65? Then the Seniorenticket Hessen, the personalised annual ticket for all people aged 65 and over, is just right for you. You can travel throughout Hessen by bus and train for one year. The ticket is valid on all means of transport of the three Hessian transport associations RMV, NVV and VRN. The ticket can be paid for in a single payment or as a subscription with 12 monthly instalments. You decide. You also have the option of upgrading the simple Seniorenticket Hessen to the Seniorenticket Hessen Komfort. You can find out more about the advantages of this ticket under Variants.
Price
The Senioren Ticket Hessen costs 379 euros per year for a one-off payment. If a subscription is chosen, the ticket costs 32.20 euros per month in 12 instalments, making a total of 386.40 euros per year.
The Senioren Ticket Hessen Komfort costs 649 euros per year for a one-off payment. If you choose the subscription, this ticket costs 55.05 euros per month in 12 instalments, making a total of 660.60 euros per year.

Variants
This ticket is ideal for those who want to sleep a little longer. The Senior Ticket Hessen is valid from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. and all day on weekends and public holidays. There are no carriage regulations and it is valid on 2nd class trains. Please note that it is not possible to upgrade to 1st class. If you would like to use the AirLiner, you can do so by paying a surcharge.
If you want round-the-clock mobility and want to take your grandchild on a weekend trip, the Senioren Ticket Hessen Komfort is the right choice.
This ticket also includes all the services of the Senioren Hessen Ticket. What's more, you are not tied to specific times and are mobile 24 hours a day. You have the RMV take-along rule included and can therefore take one adult and any number of children under the age of 15 with you every day from 7 pm and all day on weekends and public holidays. The ticket also gives you the option of travelling 1st class on trains and using the AirLiner from Darmstadt to Frankfurt Airport.
The ticket is valid for 12 months and is valid from the 1st of any calendar month. You can choose between a one-off payment or a subscription. The subscription is automatically renewed after 12 months if it has not been cancelled. Cancellation must be received by the last day of the previous month and takes effect from the 1st of the following month. Cancellation must be made directly at a sales point or in writing to the company that issued the ticket. If you have purchased the ticket online via the RMV TicketShop, you can cancel directly there.
Purchase option
In the RMV TicketShop, you register once in the myRMV customer portal and then select your desired ticket. You can then choose between a one-off or twelve-time debit and must provide proof of your age in order to benefit from the advantages.

Important note: It is only possible to take out a subscription by post.
You will usually receive your ticket by post. In order for the ticket to be valid from the following month, the order must be placed by the 10th of the month.
