Due to the dismantling of a crane, buses on lines 5 and 15 in Giessen will have to take an alternative route from 18 to 21 July.

From the start of operations on Tuesday, 18 July up to and including Friday, 21 July, bus routes 5 and 15 in the direction of Wieseck in Giessen will have to partially switch to an alternative route. The reason for this is the dismantling of a crane in Reichensand Street. This makes it necessary to close the area to traffic for a total of four days. As a result, bus routes 5 and 15 will have to take a diversion via the Südanlage during this time. This means that the "Katharinengasse" and "Marktplatz" stops on these routes in the direction of Wieseck will be cancelled. The "Johanneskirche" stop will be used instead. From the "Behördenzentrum", the buses will return to the usual route. No diversion is necessary in the opposite direction during the same period. Both lines will be travelling on the usual route.

Stadtwerke Gießen publishes up-to-date information at www.swg-verkehr.de under the heading "Current traffic information". Of course, the staff at the RMV mobility centre in the SWG customer centre on Marktplatz will also be happy to help from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm. SWG is of course also available to answer questions by telephone on 0641 708-1400 or by e-mail at mobizentrale@stadtwerke-giessen.de.
