The city buses on line 7 of Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG) will be taking a diversion in the Philosophenwald area next Sunday, 10 June. The reason for the diversion is the Giessen Cycle Race, which is taking place in this area. The Tannenweg will be closed for the cycle race. For this reason, route 7 will follow the changed route from the start of operations until probably 19:00.
The Professorenweg and Tannenweg stops will not be available to city buses on this day. Stadtwerke asks its passengers to use the two bus stops August-Messer-Straße and Pestalozzischule. As part of the diversion, the buses will travel via Pestalozzistraße. As soon as the cycle race is over and the diversion has been cancelled, the city buses will resume their usual route.
All important information will be available to passengers at the relevant bus stops on Sunday. Anyone wishing to obtain information in advance can call 0641 708-1400 or visit the mobility centre in the infoZentrum on Marktplatz. The mobility centre is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Stadtwerke asks its passengers for their understanding in the event of any delays.
