From next Monday, Line 1 will serve the new "Rechtenbacher Hohl" terminus.

Sometimes things go better than planned: From next Monday, 18 December, Line 1 will serve the new "Rechtenbacher Hohl" terminus. With this extension of the route beyond the "Langer Strich" station, Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) is making the industrial estate in Lützellinden easily accessible by bus. With the commissioning of the new terminus, Line 1 can once again run on its usual route. This means that the replacement stop in Falltorstraße, which was due to a diversion, will no longer be necessary and the "Taunusstraße" and "Langer Strich" stops will once again be served in both directions. "We are very pleased that we can already offer our passengers this service," explains Anne Müller-Kreutz, Head of Local Transport Services at SWG. In fact, the necessary construction work was completed faster than originally planned.

Important to know: On Sundays, the early journeys will continue to start and end at the "Langer Strich" stop until around 9 a.m. due to the timetable.

The current timetables can be found at www.swg-verkehr.de, at www.rmv.de or in the RMVgo app. Of course, the staff at the RMV mobility centre in Giessen in the SWG customer centre on Marktplatz will also be happy to help from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm. SWG is of course also available to answer questions by telephone on 0641 708-1400 or by email at mobizentrale@stadtwerke-giessen.de.
