Last Monday, the D-youth footballers of JSG Linden experienced a special training day. The young players donned their brand new jerseys for the first time. The players have their coach Jan-Hendrik Budzinski to thank for the new kit. He knows only too well how great it feels to stand on the pitch in a new jersey for the first time. He therefore applied to Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) for sponsorship - and was successful. The company is supporting the team with a completely new kit including player and goalkeeper shirts as well as JOMA shorts and socks. With the flocking on the chest of the white players' shirts, the SWG are involved in every duel and every goal celebration.
"It's really great that SWG are supporting us. The new shirts look great and are a very special motivation for the players," said a delighted Frank Steffan, TSV Großen-Linden board member, at the handover last Monday. Stephanie Orlik, Marketing Services & Sponsoring, was there on behalf of SWG and praised: "TSV Großen-Linden does outstanding youth work in many sports - including football. Starting with the very youngest players in the G-Youth up to the higher age groups, the players have the opportunity to develop their talent. We wish the team lots of fun and success with the new jerseys for the current season."
After SV Harbach, JSG Linden is the second club that SWG has supported with a specific project. As part of the "Spiel dein Spiel" sponsorship concept, the company wants to strengthen grassroots sport in the region - especially in the youth sector. In addition to clubs, schools and private initiatives can also apply for sponsorship. Applications can be submitted via an online form at www.swg-spieldeinspiel.de. SWG staff will review all applications received and will inform you shortly whether and in what form they will support the project.
