On Thursday, 2 November, Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) will be offering a look behind the scenes at the crematorium at the New Giessen Cemetery. Among other things, interested parties can get an idea of the new prayer room and take part in a guided tour of the premises from 5.30 pm. Afterwards - from around 6.30 pm - the independent funeral speaker Silke Stoeckel and educationalist Christian K. Mayer Glauninger will give a talk in the farewell room on the subject of dying. Under the title "Fairy tales and ritual", they will talk about ways of dealing with death in a healing way and about empowering approaches to the topics of life, dying and farewell.
