From Wednesday 18 July, bathers will be able to visit the indoor swimming pool in the Ringallee bathing centre again. The hall had been closed for around three weeks since 25 June due to renovation work in the wet area of the sauna on the upper floor. The major work has now been completed, meaning that visitors can use the swimming pool and changing rooms again. However, there may still be some disruption here in the coming weeks, as this area is located below the construction site on the upper floor. As a result, some of the changing rooms will still have to be closed in the coming weeks.

"We expect the remaining work in the wet area of the sauna to be completed before the start of the indoor season by mid-August. The entire pool will then be fully usable again," says Uwe Volbrecht, Head of Pool Operations at Stadtwerke Gießen. "Until then, we have set up a construction site offer: All tariffs apply without a time limit. This means that all pool visitors can stay in the pool for as long as they like at the normal admission prices - at least until closing time at 10 p.m.," adds Uwe Volbrecht.

Further information on the services offered by the Stadtwerke Gießen pool company can be found at www.giessener-baeder.de. Information on the reopening of the sauna area will follow.
