Children did handicrafts with the municipal utilities

While parents used the last Saturday before Easter to buy presents for the little ones, Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG) offered a craft activity for the youngsters. Last Saturday, 24 children took part in Easter crafts at the SWG infoCentre. Before the starting signal was given, Astrid Weixler, a member of SWG's private customer sales team, explained a few things about the municipal utility to the young participants.

Then they got started. Using napkins, brushes and various colours, the young artists created their individual place card birds. The colourfully painted plastic eggs also included wooden clips. The kids decorated the masterpieces with decorative feathers to ensure that the place card birds were perfect and decorative, and the colourful fantasy birds showed that the children were not lacking in creativity. After almost three hours, the children proudly presented their works of art, and it wasn't just the youngsters who had a lot of fun making them, Astrid Weixler was also pleased: "A whole flock of birds seems to have landed on this table. Due to the good response, this will certainly not be the last handicraft event at the infoCentre," reveals Weixler.
