Durmus Kul from Giessen has won 250 cubic metres (m3) of water. Yesterday, Michael Rösner, Head of Private Customer Sales at Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG), presented the lucky winner and his wife, Zeynep Kul, with a voucher worth 500 euros.
Durmus Kul is the winner of the drinking water prize draw, which originated from the infoCentre on the market square. To mark the 10th anniversary of the information centre on the market square, SWG organised a series of exhibitions with useful tips on energy and water supply. The theme of the second exhibition was drinking water. The aim of SWG's energy experts was to familiarise visitors with the rational use and sensible use of drinking water. Customers who took advantage of an energy consultation during the exhibition period could take part in a prize draw.
Until 28 April 2004, modern heating technology together with the appropriate energy service will be the focus of the exhibition. In addition to useful information, Stadtwerke is giving away district heating worth 500 euros. Anyone interested can visit the exhibition in the infoCentre from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm.
