The partial lockdown decided on Wednesday also affects Giessen's swimming pools: the Ringallee indoor pool and the Westbad swimming pool will be temporarily closed from next Monday.
In addition to many other areas of public life, the new lockdown restricts leisure activities in particular where there is a potential risk of infection. This naturally also applies to visits to swimming pools. Consequently, Giessen's swimming pools will have to close temporarily from next Monday, 2 November 2020, when the new regulation comes into force.
Up to and including Sunday, it will still be possible to swim laps or spend a few fun hours swimming with the children. Of course, the familiar hygiene rules and restrictions on visitor numbers apply. If you buy your ticket online, you can be sure of getting a place in the respective pool on the desired date.
The Giessen pools will inform you in good time when they can reopen which pool. Further, always up-to-date information is available on the Internet at: www.giessener-baeder.de or at facebook.com/giessenerbaeder
