Once again, suspected fraudsters are trying to gain access to the homes of customers of Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG). In a recent case, a man in green protective clothing pretended to have to check the meter in the basement in order to note down the meter number. The customer was not fooled and denied the man access.
"The lady did exactly the right thing," explains Ulli Boos, Head of Marketing at SWG. "Anyone who has doubts should not let anyone into their home and should contact us. The more tips we receive, the greater the chances of putting a stop to the fraudsters."
