
Four trainees at Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) have passed their final exams.
Two of them are also gaining their first experience as skilled workers at SWG. The company is taking them on for at least twelve months.
Four trainees from Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG) recently passed their final exams at the Giessen-Friedberg Chamber of Industry and Commerce. On 31 January, they received their certificates from Matthias Funk, Technical Director of SWG. He, Ruth Biehl-Franze, who is responsible for training at SWG, and the two SWG trainers Georg Erb and Hagen Luh
congratulated Fabian Kaiser (electronics technician for industrial engineering), Yunus Türker (plant mechanic), Maurice Pohley (electronics technician for industrial engineering) and Nico van Elkan (machine and plant operator) at the presentation ceremony. "We are a little proud of the four of them. They have done a really good job over the last three and a half years. We are therefore delighted that two of them will be staying with us for the next twelve months," explained Matthias Funk. Yunus Türker completed his second apprenticeship after completing his bakery apprenticeship and is now working in the pipe network department. Maurice Pohley supports his colleagues in the cable network division.
