Swimwear out and savour the sun - that's the motto for bathers at the Ringallee outdoor pool for a week longer than expected. Due to the beautiful weather, Stadtwerke Giessen has extended the 2016 season and will keep the pool gates open until 18 September.
It was changeable and almost thought to be over: the summer of 2016 is now showing its best side once again. The good weather makes the hearts of outdoor pool fans beat faster. Because: Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) has extended the swimming season at the Ringallee outdoor pool. "The pool gates will remain open until Sunday 18 September inclusive," announced Ina Weller, SWG company spokesperson. Swimming fans can enjoy the sun and swim in the open air for a week longer than planned. The outdoor pools in Lützellinden and Kleinlinden had already closed on 30 August.
